What is Bio Diesel--Definition

BIO DIESEL
CORP

When i search about Bio Diesel I got many types of Definitions. As

On Wikipedia I got this one
"Biodiesel refers to a vegetable oil- or animal fat-based diesel fuel consisting of long-chain alkyl (methyl, propyl or ethyl) esters. Biodiesel is typically made by chemically reacting lipids (e.g., vegetable oil, animal fat (tallow)) with an alcohol". As seen on resource site

On an other site named Greenmeetings
I got this definition--"A clean burning, alternative fuel derived from animal fats or vegetable oil that can be used in diesel burning engines. It does not contain petroleum products, but may be blended with petroleum-based diesel". As seen on resource site

The greencar web site have this one--
"A fuel that is derived from various plant oils – typically rapeseed oil, palm oil and soybean oil. It is usually blended with mineral diesel or used on its own. It is an environmentally friendly alternative fuel that reduces CO2 emissions". As seen on resource site

Now if i define this in my words "Bio diesel is an alternative source of energy which use in the place of diesel in diesel tanks. It can reduce the emission of CO2 and can protect our environment".
